Sacred
Steel is one of the hundreds of bands that emerged in avalanche mid-nineties to the length and breadth of old Europe, specifically in Germany, as we all know a great producer of very good Metal, that having received Communion in the ' True Holy Church of Metal 'and its high priest, Manowar, rushed, ax and sword in hand, to the conquest (or reconquest) of the whole world. The band's roots date back to the 80's, when most members were already playing in bands that could gain the acclaim of the underground circuit Germany. It was not until the founding of Sacred Steel, who were able to attract attention and get massive success.
After opening for bands like Blitzkrieg, they signed with Metal Blade Records in April 1997, the first German band to do so. This was their debut album "Reborn In Steel", which was launched in October 1997 and which, thanks to positive response from press and fans, Sacred Steel became one of the important bands in Metal Germany in a very short time, perhaps the apogee of this sub-genre epic based on the medieval theme called 'True Metal', and the success of bands like Hammerfall.
