AVENGER - PRAYERS OF STEEL+ DEPRAVED TO BLACK (1985)
The embryo and the origin of the band Peter "Peavey" Wagner, Rage. Formed in 1983, these recordings are the two 'official' under the name of Avenger, which changed in 1986 by the above-cited Rage has reached our days. Alf had origins Meyerratken and Jochen Schroeder (Mekong Delta) on guitars and moonlighting Jörg Michael ( touched up with his shadow) on drums, 
and those engaged to provide strong, openly or artifice, the typical Heavy Metal of the era of the mid-80's, where there are, of course influences of the NWOBHM torn in its most wild, those first traces of Speed \u200b\u200bMetal more blatant and arrogant and productions are almost nonexistent, where the band gave more value to the compositions themselves, the 'feeling' and attitude that you get a neat and immaculate sound. Obviously, after this quarter century, Rage is a completely different band musically, that it could not be otherwise, has evolved over the years (and where Peavey is fat enough), but it is a curious exercise at least look back, view, and investigate the origins and observe the strong foundation on which forged one of the bands strong and important to this world of Heavy Metal. Sort of like having historical memory, as they call it now ...
